
1、 Safe operation
Professional training: Operators must undergo professional training to master the basic principles, operating procedures, and common troubleshooting methods of blow molding machines. Personnel without professional training are not allowed to operate blow molding machines.
Personal protection: When operating a blow molding machine, appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety helmets, protective goggles, protective gloves, work clothes, and work shoes should be worn to prevent accidental injuries. Special attention should be paid not to wear watches, long hair, long clothes, long skirts, or other items or clothing that are easily clamped by the device.
Equipment inspection: Before operation, all components of the blow molding machine should be checked for integrity to ensure that all safety protection devices are installed in place and effective. Especially check the heating system, cooling system, pressure system, etc. to ensure their normal operation. It is also necessary to check the connection of the compressed air tube, core mold electric heating rod, and head heating coil, and turn on the water system.
Neat environment: Keep the operating environment clean, free of debris, flammable materials, etc., and ensure that there is sufficient space around the equipment for safe operation and maintenance.
2、 Operation process
Start the device: Start the heating system, pressure system, cooling system, etc. in the order of device startup, and set corresponding parameters such as temperature, pressure, etc. according to the working principle of the device.
Heating temperature: Set the heating temperature reasonably according to the material characteristics of the required blow molded product. The melting temperature and holding time should be adjusted according to the requirements of different plastic materials and required products to ensure that the plastic particles are fully melted.
Pressure and speed: Set the air pressure and operating speed of the blow molding machine reasonably according to product requirements. High air pressure and fast operating speed can produce high-quality blow molded products, but it is important to avoid excessive air pressure and speed, which can cause product deformation or unstable quality.
Mold temperature: Adjust the mold and mold temperature according to product requirements to ensure accurate and consistent dimensions of blow molded products. Excessive mold temperature may cause product deformation, while excessively low mold temperature can affect the surface quality of the product.
Raw material preparation: Load the pre prepared plastic pellets into the hopper and ensure that there are no impurities or moisture in the hopper to avoid affecting the processing quality. Before running the fully automatic blow molding machine, raise the machine to the appropriate position to ensure that the machine head does not collide with the template, avoiding damage to the equipment.
Production monitoring: During the normal operation of the blow molding machine, operators should always pay attention to the equipment's operating status and product quality, and promptly shut down for maintenance if any abnormal situations are found. It is strictly prohibited for workers to add materials on the platform to avoid electric shock, burns, or falling from heights. During normal operation and production of the fully automatic blow molding machine, do not use your hands to break the material being extruded, in order to avoid being burned by high-temperature materials and electric cutting knives or being pinched by molds.
Shutdown maintenance: During the shutdown maintenance period, operators must strictly follow the relevant operating procedures, prohibit arbitrary debugging of equipment, and ensure safe maintenance before starting. When shutting down, each speed should be reset to zero and the heating section should be gradually turned off. At the same time, ensure that the mold is in a closed state and keep a certain distance between the blowing needle and the mold to prevent hard objects from falling into the mold and causing damage. It is also necessary to apply rust inhibitor to the mold for protection.
3、 Emergency situation handling
Emergency measures: In the event of a malfunction, accident, or other emergency situation with the blow molding machine, the operator should immediately shut down the machine and take corresponding emergency measures according to the emergency handling procedures.
Report and Record: After the emergency situation is under control, the operator should promptly report to the relevant management personnel, cooperate with the investigation and handling work, and record the accident process and handling results in detail.
4、 Equipment maintenance
Daily maintenance: Regularly clean, lubricate, and maintain the blow molding machine to ensure its normal operation. If any abnormalities are found in the equipment, it should be shut down for maintenance in a timely manner.
Regular maintenance: According to the requirements of the equipment manual and maintenance manual, regularly repair and maintain the blow molding machine, including inspecting and replacing aging parts, in order to extend the service life of the equipment.
5、 Other precautions
Material selection: Choose suitable plastic materials according to the requirements of the product to avoid product quality issues caused by unsuitable materials.
Environmental requirements: The blow molding machine should be placed in a dry and well ventilated environment to avoid moisture or dust contamination of the equipment.
Power supply: The power supply of the blow molding machine should be stable and reliable, and the calibration and safety requirements of the power supply should comply with relevant regulations. The pressure of the machine system has been set before leaving the factory and cannot be adjusted arbitrarily without special circumstances to avoid damage to the hydraulic system or affecting the normal operation of the machine caused by excessive or insufficient pressure.
In summary, when operating a blow molding unit, attention should be paid to safe operation, operating procedures, emergency handling, equipment maintenance, and other related matters. Strict adherence to and implementation of these precautions will help ensure operational safety, improve production efficiency, and extend equipment lifespan.
